Bikaner (Abhay India News). A MiG-21 ‘Bison’ fighter aircraft of the Indian Air Force on Friday crashed near Shobhasar in Bikaner district even as the pilot bailed out safely. The plane had taken off from NAL airbase on a routine training sortie and crashed- sources said.
According to preliminary information it crashed in the fields close to a residential colony about 20 kms from here. Manoj Sharma, Station House Officer of Bichwal Police Station, said the pilot of the aircraft had ejected out before it crashed.
