In order to stop the profligacy of electricity, this afternoon when JEN & associates of electricity company approached a house outside Bidasar Bari to replace old meter, the landlord and his family members attacked them. In order to avoid the sudden assault, JEN had to survive by entering the neighborhood house, while the support staff left their luggage and fled from the spot.
JEN Jitendra Padihar suffered significant injuries in the incident. The police has registered a case of assault on landlord Gauri Shankar Deora and women of his family. JEN Padihar while producing report informed that on 30 January he went to Gauri shankar Deora’s house situated at Bidasar Bari to replace old meter. After which Gauri Shankar Deora, the women of his family and two others started abusing & maltreated him while conversing on changing the meter as well as snatched Government’s important documents & ripped them which left him no choice but to fled off & save his life.
