Anish Saxena Datta.(Abhay India News). In the Lok Sabha elections, the BJP can cut tickets of several current MPs this time in the state. The number of such MPs is being told half-a-dozen. Those who are afraid to loose their tickets have started hovering around the top leaders of the party.
22 of the total 25 Lok Sabha seats in the state is currently occupied by the BJP. Though the BJP had won all the 25 seats in the , but in by-elections of 2018 BJP lost their Alwar & Ajmer seats. After this, Harish Meena, a BJP MP from Dausa, reached the Assembly by contesting the MLA’s election from the Congress camp. In such situation, now the BJP will have to work hard seeking strong candidates for these three seats.
If to be believed on party sources Barmer’s Col. Sonaram’s ticket is under menace, because he not only lost in the Assembly but was merely able to miserably manage one out of eight seats into BJP’s account from Barmer Lok Sabha constituency. Similarly Sikar’s Sumedhanand Saraswati’s ticket is also being told in menace. He has lost six seats in his constituency in the assembly elections. Apart from them crisis could be smelled on tickets of Karauli Dhaulpur MP Manoj Rajoria, Jhunjhunu MP Santosh Ahlawat, Banswara MP Manshankar Ninama, Bharatpur MP Bahadur Singh Koli, Nihal Chand Meghwal from Sriganganagar, Rahul Kaswan from Churu, Ramcharan Bohra from Jaipur, Hari Om Singh Rathore from Rajsamand.
